·         Get away from the earth with your Godless emergent church. This church believes we came from apes. They say God is not in heaven. They are lost and are misleading people to hell.
·         Muzi, why are you against God’s Holy Scriptures...
·         Your revelation whilst taking a shower scares me Muzi...I take a shower twice a day...I wish I could have these visitations...someone told us after having sex you must take a shower...

·         Why do you write a book and then tell us not to believe it....
·         Muzi, you are now annoying a number of people with your assertions...you are now behaving like those who serve divorce papers but still want to use the ANC as a platform to destroy the ANC...declare your interest that you are now the enemy of that which the Gospel and the Bible espouses...if you served divorce papers with the Kingdom some of us on behalf of the Kingdom we will sign those divorce papers and we will deal with you in that fashion...

When I became non-religious many and started having these God experiences some Pastors said I was getting mad. There is a nice game being played here. I now understand that when I become non-religious, the religious think I am going mad. When you become non-religious, you will discover how mad you were to be religious. Now it is said it is said calling people religious is being nice to them. We should actually call them ‘mad’ or ‘psychotic’. One day I visited a friend’s Church in Mabopane and heard this apostle from Africa say that the serpent seduced Eve and had sexual intercourse with her, thus all humanity are the brood of vipers. I rested my case! How can such a normal human being speak such madness and consider it holy? Who is then mad between non-religious Muzi and this very religious Apostle? You be the judge! These are the same people who claim with absolute certainty that religion can answer some ultimate questions, where science has failed.
I am not surprised by the emails and religious anger that followed from the previous book. I had done prior research on the sources of religious anger and its relation to fundamentalism. I expect similar comments arising from the new book as well, but still hope not. What do I do with this kind of talk in the name of Jesus Christ and “righteous Christians”? I realize that these people love God (as they understand God), love the truth (as they understand the truth), and love the Church (to which they perceive me as a threat, even though I’m not). Sadly, their love for God and the Church turns into something other than love. I shared these comments in the hope that they will be of value to others who are the targets of this kind of religious speech, and maybe even for those whom such comments are first or second language.
There is something about religion that evokes such deep emotions and reactions. You can do your own search by “google-eing” the words, ‘religion and anger’ on the internet. You will find the intimate connection between anger and religion. Religious wars have been amongst histories most cruel. What is it that makes you so angry and so emotional when you hear us talk about God? Who is God? Why does God evoke so much anger and rage in your heart? Why do religious people get so full of rage and even violence when the name ‘God’ is mentioned? Why are the sky-God religion followers so cruel? What happens inside of you as you read this? Are you getting mad? Or, are you smiling? If rage is rising inside of you, maybe you should stop reading right here, because what is inside this book will totally drive you insane. I do not want you to end up committing any atrocities or threatening my life. No one commits evil so totally, and with so much conviction like a religious person. I always tell my wife I am scared of religious people. An atheist friend, who is a scientist, used the law of probabilities to convince me that I will never die in a plane accident, even though I spend most of my life flying.
Why? Why are religious people so angry, violent, destructive and emotional? I have been in conversations about religion, and observed quickly religious anger surging. Voices are raised, emotions flow, interruptions occur, threats are made and insults are exchanged. Blackmail, personal attacks, and character assassination ensue. I am impressed to ask; Is this God they are defending with so much rage and idol? Is this idol related to the atrocities mentioned in the Old Testament? Are the atrocities committed in the name of God related to the absurdities mentioned in sacred scriptures? Can this idol be killed? Indeed, is this idol dying? What will appear when this idol named ‘God’ is finally killed. God beyond the human idol called ‘God’ will be revealed. I submit to you that a God who has to be defended with so much violence and destruction by the monotheistic faiths (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) is an idol. When this idol dies fear, hostility, and violence follows. What is the difference between this unseen idol and the millions of idols worshipped by the people we call pagan? I can only think of the words attributed to Jesus, ‘Forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing’. The reason our Christian religion has become so fierce in our day is that we know on both conscious and subconscious levels that this very super-natural concept of God has died and that the religion of fear and control is not holding. All this is about the coming of time. It is time for a “GOD CHANGE” as in change of the guard. I pray you will be willing to have this change in your heart.
